TEW 2020 Exploring the CornellVerse: RAW

In this episode of the TEW 2020 Exploring the CornellVerse series, it’s a look at where things stand with RAW, the legendary stardom of Swoop McCarthy, and much more.

Here are my notes on Revolution Australian Wrestling:

Hey everyone, it’s Blake, welcome to episode No. 18 of our Exploring the CVerse series in TEW 2020. This is RAW: Revolution Australian Wrestling, so we are on to Australia for the first time in the series.

No, don’t get this confused with our WWE series, of course. But all jokes aside, we are on to Revolution Australian Wrestling, and it’s a revolutionary concept indeed. We’ll get to that here in a second with this promotion.

But if you haven’t already, go back through and check out all the videos we’ve done on the other CornellVerse companies to this point. As we said, this is episode 18, so 17 other companies to check out if you haven’t done so already. We will get to all of them in the starting universe of the CVerse, so more to come as well. Hit that subscribe button, that way you get to check all of those out on future episodes.

Let’s talk about RAW because it is Revolution Australian Wrestling, and it’s a company ranked 11th in the world with a lot of money with 2.7 million dollars at its disposal. So, money is not an issue, and size is not an issue. You see momentum, we got 71 there, and 68 on prestige. A lot of things going for RAW, so you’re asking what’s the catch? We’ll get to it in a minute.

So, as we said, size-wise it’s a Medium promotion after you hit that 65 point overall in the home region of Western Australia. Now, to get to Big, you got to get to 77 in all five of the Mainland regions in Australia. That is going to be what you have to look at here.

You’re not that far away when you really look at it and kind of where you are on the numbers, I’m in New Zealand and it’s the only ones at 64 right now. But as we said, it’s really just achieving the 77 popularity in the five Mainland Australian regions.

That is going to be important, but it is doable to get to Big with this company and it’s a manageable path perhaps if you’re looking for getting to that…
